Everyone Is A Champ At The End Of The Day

Dear Reader,

So it has been a while since my last post but I was in Kingston so I hope you were able to keep up your reading and go to the link I posted. I had an amazing time. My friend and her little fam are the perfect vision of what family means. She is madly in love with her hubby and vice versa. It was so nice to see that because I thought the times when man and wife loved each other were dead. There’s nothing like a wonderful mini-break to open your eyes and realize certain parts of love are not dead. I fell in love with the baby and the dog though. I would have taken one of them home but I was forewarned not to do such an act, or the bounty hunters would be out for me. We relaxed and had a really good time……AWESOME TIME IN FACT!

SUNDERLAND FAIR
Sept 12, 2007

So my student Kimmy and her mount Avis went to their first show of the month. It was a hunter show, and we all readily admit that Avis is not a hunter horse, but he truly pulled out all the stops for Kimmy. They worked together like I had never seen them before. They had become one, and they have only been together for just over 2 months. A working team like that usually takes more time then that to build. Kimmy ended up 1, 2, 1,2, 3, 1, with winnings like that we were hoping for a nice finish. And too our surprise we got Champion of the division and Kimmy ended up winning a cooler (blanket) for Avis and a trophy which she got to take home. We were both really impressed for their first show. Avis was a prince and Kimmy was a champion, what a perfect combination.

FOXHUNTER SCHOOLING SHOW
Sept 16, 2007

It was Sunday and we were able to get Avis ready before it was time to leave for the show. Now I will admit that I have always gotten ready for a show the day before but we had lots of time to get ready before driving to the show. It was really nice to do it that way though, it was a good way to manage anxiety and nerves because you just keep going with busy-ness. We arrived at the show shortly after 12 and then we waited till around 1 to start tacking up and get ready for go time. We were ready around 1:30 because the class was to start around 2, but sadly we were mislead. We didn’t realize till we had already been standing around for 2 ½ hours. We didn’t actually start showing till around 4:30, it was completely ridiculous. Kimmy and Avis did well but they weren’t as on their game as they were at Sunderland. I can’t blame them though there was too much waiting around and drama with other girls at the show. They ended up coming home with a 2, 4, 4, which isn’t too bad. I will say though anyone that is considering showing at Foxhunter….don’t do it, it’s a big mistake and waste of time, money, and effort.

Now to the most important part of the post:

THE HILLS

So the drama was running full force on the Hills tonight. Relationships are being made and moving forward. While certain people are being complete dinks. We can all guess who is being a dink and who isn’t, it’s made very obvious on the show. One thing I will state for the record is that I really like Whitney as Lauren’s boss and she is doing such a good job. Whitney would be awesome to work for I think.

RECAP

- Heidi is off to work when Spencer asks how Elodie is taking Heidi’s promotion. Heidi says that it is strictly business and there is no grudge and everything is swell.
- Teen Vogue staff has a meeting and starts discussing the plans for the Young Hollywood Party. The party is showcasing the work of designer Mark Jacobs, so the Teen Vogue people have upped their guest list quota by 700 people. It’s going to be a big deal
- Audrina comes back from a weekend getaway with J-Bobby, she says they had a really good time. Lauren asks if they are a couple now since they are going on weekend breaks and Audrina says that yes they are finally a couple. Lauren is happy for her and Audrina’s happy about the commitment.
- While at work, Heidi tells the receptionist Lacey, that only calls from Spencer, Brent and Jen are to be patched through immediately. Anything else is to be taken as a message and Heidi will get back to the person. Elodie hears this going on and just rolls her eyes thinking that Heidi is being ridiculous.
- Whitney and Lauren are canvassing possible areas to have the Young Hollywood Party, Lauren tells Whitney that she had coffee with Jason the other day. Whitney is kind of surprised but asks if Jason has changed and Lauren says she can definitely tell he has.
- When Whitney and Lauren are at work the next day, Lauren receives a call from Jason asking her to dinner at a new hot spot called Ketchup.
- While at work Heidi receives a phone call from Spencer saying they are going to Ketchup that night as well.
- Lauren and Jason are at the restaurant having a good time and talking when Heidi and Spencer come prancing in. Spencer makes a big deal and says, “I’m really glad to see you guys are back together again.” This makes Lauren mad and uncomfortable.
- Heidi and Spencer decide they are going to send drinks to Lauren and Jason but Lauren denies the drinks because she doesn’t want anything to do with the evil pair.
- Heidi and Spencer continue to be complete dicks, even yelling goodbye across the restaurant as Lauren and Jason leave.
- On the car ride back to Lauren’s condo, Jason and Lauren discuss about what dicks Heidi and Spencer are and how much they deserve each other. Jason thought Spencer’s comment was really uncalled for since he didn’t even know him and Lauren when they were dating.
- Jason drops Lauren off and there is a bit of an uncomfortable moment.
- The next day at work Heidi makes a point to stop and talk to Elodie. She tells her about the encounter with Jason and Lauren and how they were ‘rude’ because they wouldn’t even accept the drinks they sent over. Elodie makes a point of saying, “What is going on with you Heidi? What did you do for Lauren to dislike you so much? You used to be friends with Audrina and Whitney too and you aren’t anymore. I just don’t think you even know what is right anymore.” Heidi is shocked that Elodie is saying this and ends up making an unhappy face.
- Jason and Lauren meet for a coffee again.
- Heidi and Spencer go to Don Antonio’s for dinner. Heidi tells Spencer that she is really tired and upset of people not being very accepting about her promotion, specifically Elodie. Spencer just does a whatever gesture and that’s it.

So I think a lot happened in this episode. A lot in the way of Jason and Lauren. It almost feels as if they are going to hook back up. It might be nice for Lauren to hook up with Jason since in the last episode she mentioned what a connection they had. They have a lot more in common now too since Lauren dislikes Heidi now. Jason says that he never liked her and warned Lauren a long time ago, which is interesting because he was totally right about her. Sure Jason was bad but he was terrible when he was drinking and since he’s in rehab he doesn’t do that anymore. I would like to see something happen between Lauren and Jason again, but I’m not sure whether that will be happening. Heidi has turned into an uber bitch. As each episode goes by I hate her more and more. What Elodie said was right on the mark because Heidi really has changed since Spencer came into her world. For a guy to have that much changing power over you cannot be a good thing. I would like to see something happen with Whitney just because her story line is a bit boring. She needs some excitement in her life too. So as I said it was one interesting show tonight, can’t say enough really, but I’m tired so I have to end it!
